The songs are from Björk's 2017 album Utopia. The videos were released sometime last year.

datdude	i tried her with Vespertine. with headphones. under a blanket. at the behest of a gushing magazine review. i had to apologize to my ears. they felt violated. perhaps not the best introduction, but bitter aftertaste. haven't fuq'd with her since

First Kate Bush and now Björk. You don't have much luck with these avant-garde artists.

I wasn't keen on that 1 either, got midway thru (or maybe I finished it hmmm

) n was like "the meh". Her first 3 albums (especially Post n parts of Debut) r quite decent imho music

. Gonna try the album these vids r from 2 check it out though smile

Whereas i used to be really drawn to her visuals and felt they enhanced or strengthened her music I now find them really off putting and alienating. I literally can't hear her music for the last 15 years or so because I find the aesthetic sort of aggressively disorienting. I can see the complexity and craft but I can't bring myself to the effort of deciphering. It saddens me a little because I felt like I was in sync with her and now its almost like experiencing white noise - like I'm completely out of frequency with her.

That those videos do not represent "the pinnacle" of the use of CGI, at least in technical terms. It's fine if you like them "for their artistic merits", but the CGI in those one is simply dated. The AAA computer games from the previous 1-2 decades have better use of computer generated graphics than those videos, from a technical point of view.
