I always liked 'Love Song' because it's so different. They clearly didn't want to create the biggest hit single of the 80s, they wanted to created something more leftfield. I love M's voice on it, and the 'time goes by...' section is gorgeous!

I agree. They could have done a fun, catchy, uptempo track.Instead, they chose to go in another direction and I like it.

Her second best album to me, or her best, I'm not sure, incredible tour and the title track might be her best song ever. This is her Billie Jean or her When Doves Cry. Like A Virgin is her Thriller.

Agree ^

Too bad she's an awful person. A good friend of mine was her personal assistant for a while when she lived in BH - and sorry, folks - Madge is a raging beeeeatch! Lordes was basically rasied by her nanny(s) and the last straw for my friend before she quit was Guy Ritchie's openly racist remarks about her crew (make up and wardrobe people) - she was happy to walk away from that gig!

Sorry to hear your friend had a bad experience working for her, I can imagine it being difficult even though Iā€™m a fan anyways

My friend was sooo excited for this gig and was so turned off when she experienced what she did.

I like her, but hey, even Ellen is having issues. It was well rumored in the industry that working on that show was a nightmare. Sometimes where there is smoke, there is fire shrug

Cherish

So tired of broken hearts and losing at this game
Before I start this dance
I take a chance in telling you
I want more than just romance
You are my destiny, I can't let go baby can't you see
Cupid please take your aim at me

Cherish the thought
Of always having you here by my side (oh baby I)
Cherish the joy
You keep bringing it into my life (I'm always singing it)
Cherish your strength
You got the power to make me feel good (and baby I)
Perish the thought
Of ever leaving, I never would

I was never satisfied with casual encounters
I can't hide my need for two hearts that bleed with burning love
That's the way it's got to be
Romeo and Juliet, they never felt this way I bet
So don't underestimate my point of view

Cherish the thought
Of always having you here by...

Who? You! Can't get away, I won't let you
Who? You! I could never forget to
Cherish is the word I use to remind me of your love

spit yes, we are all envious of having a racist husband and being so wealthy we can treat the people who work for us badly.

I mean, we don't know, it could be true or it could be false, the queen seems like a difficult kind of woman, so who knows.
