Finally An Interesting Verzuz Battle? I was new to the Verzuz phenomenon when people made a big deal about Jill Scott vs. Erykah Badu but I left underwhelmed. I was hoping for a live singing battle but alas, that isn't what Verzuz is about. But now I hear about Alicia Keys and John Legend's "Battle of the Pianos" and now I'm interested again. I doubt it. It's probably just called that cuz they both play piano. Don't c the point in these either, as much as I love Badu, etc, if they're not gonna sing

Eh, Alicia's gonna wash him. She's got too many classics for him to compete with. Even her features are classics. My Boo w/ Usher and Empire State of Mind w/ Jay Z are both classic r&b and pop songs. I missed the Beenie Man and Bounty Killer battle too and everyone said it was the best one. SMH | |
