Aretha of course. I'll admit I like Basia's version next. Wasn't expecting what I heard.

I love Miki Howard but never really cared for her New Jack version of it.

I have fond,childhood memories of hearing Aretha's version over and over and over,back in 1974.My mother had the album and played that song constantly music how I miss that era! When soul music was really SOUL MUSIC,ya know what I mean? smile
