So what are you listening to this Holiday season?

Post your current playlist highlights whether its Holiday or current.
.
What are you gonna listen to while traveling? Of course this time of year I put on A Motown Christmas. Spread some good vibes and some holiday cheer. Try not to bash others choices tbh holiday music can be like an ugly sweater contest sometimes. I also like at least once to listen to A LaFace Family Christmas and Jingle Bell Jazz.

music Although I must admit I am disappointed with the crap Merry Chirstmas Anniversary Edition that was recently released. Remixes are horrible and not necessary. I can't believe she doesn't have any other songs in the can or even alternate/demo versions that could have been included instead. I'm sticking with my 2005 Duel Disc Edition.

I never thought I would get into remixed/drum n bass Christmas music until last year shopping in this trendy spot, I heard this playing over the pa. I thought it was really chic, adult, I could see playing this at a Christmas party mixer

My Christmas mix spans the last 80 years.

Love the swing, love the soul, love some 80s, love some blues, love the standards but when Christmas is over, so is the Christmas music.

I always jam out at least once to the timeless kitsch of “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses. The horns get me every time, so catchy.

Yeah, I am enjoying this one. I also bought Jessie J's Christmas album which has Babyface, Boyz II Men, and production by Rodney Darkchild Jerkins on it, including the title track - a new song for the season.

Amy Grant "Grown Up Christmas List" - not realizing until this year it was first released on a David Foster album, WRITTEN BY LINDA THOMPSON JENNER (yes, her "I Have Nothing" - she wrote some real schitt!)

Andy Williams Christmas Album (1963) - yeah it has Happy Holiday and It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year but the overall album has some amazing great sounding arrangements!

I have actually been trying to find this one because I learned that frantic version of "Jingle Bells" comes from her version.
