Let's hear it for Buddy Guy, a blues legend who is STILL alive... ...and still out there on the road performing at 83! His older sister still shows up at his b'day shows to sing! Those are some damned good genes! Saw him a few years ago and he was great...Jeff Beck and Santana showed up to perform with him for a few songs. His stories are as good as his guitar chops (and he gives the crowd as good as he gets! lol), even though he may be a little slower these days. Here's to Buddy Guy! His guitar sound and vocals are an inspiration. A class act who is a genuine blues legend. Up there with BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf and Elmore James. | |
