It's time for the Grannyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys! The 62nd Annal Granny Ceremony is just 3 (three) months away. The bidding season is now. As you know, Letoya Jackson has not won any Granny like, ever. However, Toy hasn't released anything in a long time meaning she probably will not be nominated for anything. Do you think she has a chance at the Legend Award? Who would you, besides her, nominate for the Legend Award if you were part of the jury? Even though I think the ceremony is losing prestige as it surrenders to the commercial pop world I still believe it has not lost all its credit.

Toy has launched 10 (ten) albums in her wholle career. That's more solo albums than Mike. She may not be that famous in the US but she is a bonafide superstar in places like Southeast Asia. Doesn't that count? It most definitely can and should and so I've just sent a few electronic mails to the Grannys. If we all lobby maybe she may have a chance. GO!

If there is such an award, I do think Joni Mitchell is worthy.

Are you being faceious? LaToya can be honored in Asia. She will have no honors in the U.S. The closest she's ever come to a hit album was "Heart Don't Lie". Everything else flopped. There are so many others who have been around longer and far more successful than her who have not been honored with Legends awards.

Taylor Swift for the Lifetime Of Cheesement Award. She just released an album and therefore deserves all of the Grannys.

LaToya has not done a darn thing to earn the Legend Award. LaToya is nothing in the business, but a crazy, cuckoo Jackson.

To even think that LaToya should be considered for this award is crazy.

With all of the music legends out there, LaToya is a nobody.

I have never heard of such a thing as a "Granny Award" and at first I thought that maybe you mispelled "Grammy"...and then when you mentioned Latoya winning it, I thought that it couldn't possibly be the Grammy's! I know you may be serious, but what in the world did Latoya do to deserve an award of any kind, except for being a member of the Jackson family? I have never in my life, owned or listened to anything that Latoya ever made, musically, and from what I see, everything she's ever done, has been made fun of, and never taken seriously, at least by people in the US.

I don't know about the Grannys, but La Toya has some Grammys on her shelf if I'm not mistaken.
