The man's art and concept touched alot of us on another level. I looked forward to what the album would look like just as much as what it would sound like. His art was distributed to every corner of the globe.

For him to die penniless and in poor health is a damn shame.

I still remember the first George Clinton album I ever saw in a record store, Some Of My Best Jokes Are Friends. At that point all I knew of George was "Atomic Dog", but I still bought the album...a large part of the reason was the cover. The thing was practically a comic book and it made me want to hear what was on the record.
