it's good to see she's come out of the shit of the last few years pretty well.

i know she's a bit of a basket case, but i'm always rooting for her and still
enjoy both her old and new music a lot.

Yep, couldn't have said it better myself. Anyway, Sinead absolutely knocked it out of the park here and this is one of the most emotional performances I've ever heard/seen of this song. As wonderful as the original Prince version is, this really has been her song for a long time, even if she didn't write it.

I'm glad to see her looking healthy and I've always loved her singing this song.

She's had some mental problems for sure.

Nobody seems to have a problem when it's the Rev and the Time, Family, NPG, so on, so on, so on, and so forth.

Sinead isn't 1 of my fav peeps, but she ranks above the 1's mentioned^^, to me.

Love it! Glad she can still sing as well. She was always an odd bird - honest, ballsy, and seemed completely unafraid of having everyone hate her (sometimes it was almost like she was daring you to hate her), but the talent always shone through.

I believe something fucked up went down between Prince and her that night, whatever the true details are, and that he was capable of treating someone like absolute garbage, but could also be your biggest friend and supporter. Personalities are complex, and often contradictory, and I think that certainly applies to both Prince and Sinead.
