I discovered her via Youtube and can´t get enough of her .

Her voice, her beautiful looks, her physique, her creativity and her amazing videos....just wow !

She´s released some great acoustic versions of some of her hits that I much prefer over the album versions, and she did a cover of Björk´s Venus As A Boy that I could listen to all day long.

What´s up with embedding Youtube videos here? Why can´t I see the videos?

People often complain that today´s music sucks, and maybe so, but as far as I´m concerned I think one just has to look for it and it´s out there. It´s just that the way of distribution and promotion has changed drastically. But Kali, Abra, Sza and many other relatively new musicians give me hope and are living proof that there´s a lot of great new music out there, spread out between Youtube, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, Mixcloud, Spotify and whatnot.

It´s just so damn complicated to get a hold of all that music these days. One minute it´s out there and the next minute it´s gone for good. I´m still trying to figure out how to find and download certain songs by certain artists.Some songs are offered as free downloads and a bit later they are completely gone or just available as streams.

I need to get hip to the new ways of getting music.

Meh. I seeked her out after hearing her on a Tyler, The Creator track (See You Again ), but nothing clicked w/ me from her. The 1 w/ Bootsy n T is O-kay n the Bjork cover u guys mentioned, meh .

I had the same problem, I think the new struggle here is to keep using "preview" and make sure that the link isn't "active" (in your post above the link is active/clickable). Its a pain in the rear, for sure.

Have you seen this video yet? The acoustic version of Dead to Me. It is soooo beautiful, and the video is beautiful, too. I think she should do more acoustic stuff like that. Her acoustic version of songs like Dead to Me and Just A Stranger sound so brilliant. I could listen to those songs for hours. Her voice is amazing, too.

Hey FYI even the reply demonstrates you are so close and exactly what is missing regarding posting videos. You'll see my link is not blue and underlined (active) in your Reply to window. Highlight your blue link and click the little chain break icon, next to the A/Font Color button, so it removes the underline and the blue/active. that should make the reply actually post the video. I copied your youtube code above and pasted it below removing the blue/active link.
