Thanks, interesting read here is an alternative review “Leaving Neverland" Feels More Like an Opportunistic Hit-Piece Rather Than a Documentary [Review] https://www.worldofreel.c...xlAXd9XoFQ
I can “review” HBO’s upcoming “Leaving Neverland” or just give an opinionated schema of Michael Jackson and his history of sexual abuse allegations towards underaged teenage boys. I’ll try to do both. “Leaving Neverland” comes to us in rather problematic and outlandish circumstances. The fact that Michael Jackson, the antagonist of this documentary, has been dead for the better part of 10 years can seem unfair in that he has no way to defend himself. Secondly, and maybe less covered by the media, is the fact that one of the two accusers in the documentary, Wade Robson, a former choreographer whose allegations of abuse are at the center of this controversial new doc, has a shady past. Now, this shouldn’t be of any concern, especially with his alleging that he was sexually abused by Jackson, but Robson has a history of, err, shall we say, a desperate past. We’ll get back to that later............... Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

And this
Doing research for an article and came across this. This sh*t is crazy. "The boy finally broke down, he admitted that he... had made up the whole story." https://youtu.be/gMAz1MBhG_U @MichaelJackson #LeavingNeverland #MichaelJackson #MichaelJacksonIsInnocent #LeavingNeverlandFrauds TSCM @MJJRepository Replying to @mirrorjeffers @Channel4
Take this teenager from Canada who offered HOURS of unwavering graphic allegations against MJ on video, phone and in person. No less detailed or graphic than anything Robson/Safechuck now allege. He made it all up and admits it at end of investigation.
Jonathan Harris @JohnnyAi Feb 18 For real dude. What's crazy is how rehearsed he was, to the point police even found him credible. He went as far as giving a sworn statement. I'm also stunned @DiDimond did this report. The most high profile moments of her career revolved around her relentlessly attacking #MJ. [Edited 2/19/19 16:25pm] Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

Has Oprah learned nothing from James Frey and A Million Little Pieces?
MJJJusticeProject @MJJJusticePrjct Remember back in the day when Oprah had to admit she'd been "duped" by James Frey author of "A Million Little Pieces" as his life-story was all made up ? She was embarrassed and had to publicly atone for making his book BEST SELLER-- This is the same - #WadeRobson is duping !

#LeavingNeverland isn’t a documentary. It’s a work of fiction https://thevioletreality....ba55e1a01b In an era of flat-earthers, scripted reality shows, consumption overload and “fake news”, wherein lies the truth about the King of Pop? What the media refuses to tell you about Michael Jackson, Leaving Neverland & the allegations of child molestation http://www.damienshields....-tell-you/ WITH ALL THE MADNESS surrounding Leaving Neverland—the so-called ‘documentary’ in which two admitted serial liars portray deceased pop superstar Michael Jackson as an insatiable child molester—the media seems to have forgotten about the presumption of innocence and the burden of proof... That is very well written. Amazing read. But I don't think there's a coming back from this. In fact, the Jacobshagen story has just been turned into a documentary in Australian TV so another shitstorm is brewing. True, the guy isn't taken seriously even by "haters" but the general public won't know it and won't be able to tell. So, so sad.

Of course a shitstorm is brewing there is gonna be not 1, but 2 hit pieces on at the same time in Australia, this Sunday night on different networks. SundayNightON7 (Channel7) is featuring convicted felon Conrad Murray, Diane Dimond, Michael Jacobshagen, Latoya and Jermaine Jackson. While on 60 Minutes (Channel 9), in another quality display of journalism Adrian McManus, the notorious maid who lost an unfair dismissal case against MJ, is gonna crawl from under her rock rehashing the same ol stuff she has been peddling for years. Fun times indeed
AStarChill @ABeeChillin 10h10 hours ago It's not a coincidence the smear campaign is revving itself up before millions of fans around the world mourn the 10-year anniversary of #MichaelJackson 's death. They really want to bury the truth and his legacy under a smelly mountain of media lies and fake documentaries.#MJFam [Edited 2/20/19 21:27pm] [Edited 2/20/19 21:28pm] Keep Calm & Listen To Prince

From TMZ https://www.tmz.com/2019/...neverland/
1:01 PM PT -- HBO has responded to the lawsuit, telling TMZ, "Despite the desperate lengths taken to undermine the film, our plans remain unchanged. HBO will move forward with the airing of LEAVING NEVERLAND, the two-part documentary, on March 3rd and 4th." They continue, "This will allow everyone the opportunity to assess the film and the claims in it for themselves."
Reluctant cynic @JustBenOB 2 hours ago Translation: "As we are mates with #HarveyWeinstein , we will continue to detract from his impending trial with a hit piece we've produced that defames a dead black entertainer." VP_Advocacy @VP_Advocacy CEO of @HBO, Richard Plepler with Harvey Weinstein. HBO gives a platform to #LeavingNeverland, a 'documentary' that deliberately omits exculpatory evidence, proving Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck are not credible. Why not give your platform to #Untouchable.

I don't believe the accusers but digging up a 25+ year old clause and saying it still applies a decade after his death comes across as desperate to me. Everyone knows about this doc and trying to strangle it now will do as much as good as the settlement with Jordan Chandler did in the long run. This will just need to be weathered imho, the truth will out eventually. At least he's not around to have to go through it again. [Edited 2/22/19 9:00am]

Sadly this is the only course they can go, as apparently you can't slander a dead man and no one can sue on his behalve. But of course we see, yes, it is possible to slander a dead man. That's what's happening right now. But yeah, while I love that they are sticking it to HBO, I kinda agree. Too many people have heard about that mockumentary by now and putting a legal lid on it will make people just the more interested in it/suspicious on what they have to hide.

That breach of contract from a 1992 clause is a joke, since MJ broke his contract from the HBO TV special in 1995. . Wouldn't it be more interesting to broadcast these rehearsals than this documentary? . Blame it on the estate, that did absolutely nothing in term of Releasing remastered live shows, music video, private movies, etc. . And why is the estate not funding a counter-attack documentary to show definitely that Robson, Chandler and Arvizo are all liars? . It s amazing it s not one of the first things they did after MJ s death. It would have réhabilités MJ And prevented other liars to claim MJ was a pedophile

That were advertised a lot at the time and should have been a great event. . But Michael collapsed on stage, and cancelled the show. His only way to get out of the contract was a heart attack or something like that, so MJ likely faked that. HBO must have been pissed of, and Sony cancelled the promotion of History in the US

HBO says they will still broadcast the documentary claiming people should watch it and "decide for themselves". How is it fair to say people should decide for themselves after watching the doc if only one side of the story will be presented? Only the accusation side will be on display with not a word in defence of the subject being attacked so how are people supposed to decide on anything? If they are only served one dish what is there to decide?
