The GREAT Oprah to Host Michael Jackson Accusers Wade Robson, James Safechuck on ‘Leaving Neverland’ Aftershow!

Oprah Winfrey is set to host “After Neverland,” a post-show to HBO’s documentary “Finding Neverland,” which chronicles sexual abuse accusations against Michael Jackson.

The special, which will simulcast on HBO and OWN and be available on Oprah’s “SuperSoul Conversations” podcast, will feature Michael Jackson accusers Wade Robson and James Safechuck, as well as doc director-producer Dan Reed. “After Neverland” will be taped “before an audience of survivors of sexual abuse and others whose lives have been impacted by it,” per HBO.

she always came across as jealous of MJ's fame, always. How did she go from watching this shit as some sort of family get together to narrating the shit? Oh well, none of this changes how I feel about Mike, not one iota. Just yesterday i was watching wade deny anything happened, this was from when he was still a kid, he sounded so intelligent and mature, like an adult in a kids body, he didn't sound like he was covering up, lying, or anything else. Me too has a few more suprises up it's sleeves I think before it has run it's course. right now, it's like a damned lynchmob. some lady claimed trump kissed her and it traumatized her, it's getting silly really, of course I hate to defend trump but that shit's silly.

The fact is...that weird interview with MJ made Oprah's show ride off into the ratings...and now she is exploiting the tale of that. Which is awful--to make cheese in the media from a dead music idol who is no longer here to represent himself. RIP MJ.

she's not fooling everyone, many people see through her no talent ass. also, someone on youtube had a great idea, strap these assholes to a lie detector, that one lady, adriane mcmanus seems so full of shit that she'd probably blow up the machine.

Oprah should be ashamed of herself! I've noticed that she's gone more and more to the reality show, explotive side, and no longer seems to care about morals or doing what's right, I guess it's all about ratings and money for her now, just like all the rest! Leave the man alone, he's dead and gone, isn't that enough?

Oprah is not just a name she's a brand, successful business woman that has a network to run. This will be a ratings extravaganza. Show business is more business than personal.

Okrah's only doing her masters work but she doesn't have to look like she's enjoying it so much. Weinstein & Geffen have given their orders, Okrah & Gayle must stop scissor sistering and get to work pronto.

In all seriousness, there has to be someone else pulling her strings, someone surely cant be that publicly two-faced, it's already common knowledge what she was upto on her 65th on that boat.

biggrin That was cleverly worded!

The GREAT Oprah doesn't need ANYONE to pull her strings. She is in the billionaire club herself. But I do agree, that her birthday boat trip seems to have doubled as a business deal idea for her, that'll end up bringing droves of viewers to her already successful OWN network. A successful business woman mind is always working.

Yeah, it's all about business and money, because that's all that counts right? Well, one day, money and show business will all pass away, along with your body, but where will your soul end up, and you have to answer for your deeds..... money and business won't matter then, nor will they be able to help you.

Didn't Oprah intereview Michael's kids and ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley the year after Michael's death, and supposedly were compassionate and symphathetic to their loss?

Hard to believe someone who would get so close to Michael's circle - and Michael himself in the 1990s - then interview accusers just to remain relevant?

Billionaire maybe but how did she get there, who gave her a leg-up, who saw the potential of influence she would have over African-Americans and women as a whole, not to mention the financial gain. Sounds to me like someone's calling in a favour. The whole thing is a big agenda driven set-up.

If she had any integrity or believed in un-biased reporting she would not have jumped on the bandwagon, she neither needs the money or the coverage which leads me back to the conclusion that she's having her strings pulled.

i think it's more an example of how fickle and mobbish human beings are, when MJ died, it was the opposite, people came outof the woodwork making excuses for him and saying he was a victim of tabloid journalism and grift. Now, with me too in full effect, it just seems to be going the other way. the only thing that surprises me is that it took ten years, i knew it was coming.

Reminds me of how folks used to claim Prince would never touch drugs.

I think that many of us could see prince dabbling, there were the stories of excstasy, i think what we had a hard time with was, we couldn't see him just being a sloppy, hopeless addict who can't function. And inspite of how he ended, he was always getting work done, that's the part that has never made sense, the p and m shows, he never sounded better, honestly never sounded better which still doesn't make sense, vocals are the most susceptible to physical issues, drinking, smoking, wreak havoc on the voice, and we've heard that Prince had stomach issues before his death, you can't tell from his vocals, that's just bizarre as hell, always will be. I'm a singer and everything i do effects my voice, i know how little it takes to render the singing voice useless, doesn't make sense.

If anyone wants to know what Oprah is all about, Bill Burr hit the nail on the head. Go to YouTube and look up Bill Burr's appearance on Conan when he talks about Oprah and Lance Armstrong.

Basically, she's full of shit. She's always been full of shit. But she's a billionaire so she doesn't care about who knows it. And even though I personally think that this interview with the "victims" is opportunistic as fuck, I can't help but admire her enterprise.

Should just post this everytime anything Oprah related comes up. She's neither trustworthy nor untrustworthy, she's just a brand.

anyway, has the latest heat changed anyone's mind on MJ? I'd be curious as to how effective the campaign has been on the average punter rather than journalists looking to not be cancelled themselves. Suppose we'll have to wait for the actual doc to be aired.

It doesn't change my opinion on him. I've always maintained that nobody knows for sure if he was a peado or not apart from himself and his alleged victims. This documentary won't change that fact. Without actual evidence, we'll never know.
