Absolutely brilliant. I can't believe no one ever thought of it before.

I still enjoy some Christmas music but only a couple of days before Christmas--not blaring everywhere the day before Thanksgiving and then people are burnt out on it by the time Christmas arrives... So, I avoid it until a few days before the holiday.

I hear you.

I blend various styles of Christmas music to keep it fresh. Most of my listening is done when I'm decorating, and a couple of days before.

I also blend in a lot of non-Christmas music I associate with holidays past.

Ugh, I hate my dermatologist today (not really just the skin treatment lol). Play me some happy X-mas tunes--my son and his fiancee just got me a ticket to come visit them during the holidays. That is the best Christmas present I could have gotten... Now, I'm getting sappy and sentimental--which I don't do...

I still dig White Christmas, that never fails to give me a warm glow. Most of the others just remind me of desperate shoppers fighting over the last trolley/cart and yelling at me for selling out of parsnips on Christmas Eve.
