'Regret' is probably my favorite, although it came when they were breaking up and it's from a terrible album.
Their real 14-carat classics that will survive into the future are 'Blue Monday' (most celebrated song in the UK), 'Bizarre Love Triangle', and maybe 'Regret'. Another one I love is 'All The Way', from Technique. That might be favorite, actually. And yet another from that album that's great is 'Run' (even though it rips off Bryan Adams' "One Night Love Affair", of all things).

'True Faith' is another good one.
i always thought hookie might've listened to 'just like heaven' a few too many times before writing that one, too...
Regret definitely.... But one of my favorite is "Fine Time" from Technique. So funky!
the entire technique album is so damn good.
also their music complete album was such a great surprise in that it was a-ma-zing.
it's hard to pick a favourite song. i guess it'd be true faith for me.
really? huh...i've never even thought to listen to it. peter hook was always the heartbeat of new order, as far as i was concerned...i'll give it a listen.

it surprised me too. their last few albums were so-so imo. so i didn't even go into music complete thinking there would be 2 songs i'd really like. turned out the album is just amazing start to finish. it's now my 2nd favourite album after technique . singularity and plastic are really amazing. well almost the entire album is. give it a go.
note though, that there is also an 'extended' version of the album called 'complete music' with all the same songs, yet they are all 1 to 2 minutes longer. good stuff there, too. but the original one is a bit better imo.

alright, i gave it a shot...it didn't suck, but...it felt like the memo that went out before this record was recorded might've read something like 'hey, let's get together a make a NEW ORDER record'. it sounds like new order, but it just ain't. peter hook is essential...
maybe it's personal bias. i spent a lot of years experiencing new order, and hookie was a big part of the anticipation of a new new order experience for me. he is absolutely the heart and soul of those songs, as far as i'm concerned.
peter hook is all 'cocaine and lamborghini'. this record was all 'kale smoothies and black tinted window shuttle van'.
but, hey, anything that has me binging new order all weekend don't suck.
