Shocking Blue is the easy choice here. If I want to hear Bananarama, I'll put on "Cruel Summer" instead. | |

For a long-ass time, I didn't even know "Venus" was a cover. I brought Bananarama's 45 to Kindergarten for Show & Tell. Shocking Blue is the obvious right answer, but I definitely still like Bananarama's. | |

I didn't either. But I like the remix better than the regular version. That was the one I heard the most. There used to be a local radio station that only played remixes & extended mixes. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
