Speaking of Madonna and magic and all that, there is a mysterious YouTube video with clips of some Babyface productions (u can hear Face on one song) that became tracks on Ray of Light. Some of it sounded pretty hot. My fave was Sky Fits Heaven it was spacey and chill sounding.

Babyface produced a track called “Don’t Talk To Strangers”.It was left off the album when Madonna decided to go in a totally different direction (electronica).
Earlier,I mentioned that I think Madonna should work on her autobiography and possibly a deluxe remaster of Like A Prayer.I think Ray Of Light deserves a Deluxe Edition set as well. There are so many interesting outtakes and demos from that project.Fans go crazy over stuff like this.

Yes, fans do go really crazy over reissues. Personally I'm not so into that. I don't quite get the big fuss. Hearing outtakes is interesting, I guess, but not that essential to me. A lot of fans do want that so from a career and legacy perspective it would benefit her so I guess that is something she should look into doing. But me personally I get more excited about new music.
I do want her to write her autobiography one day. There have been a few biographies of her, but to me none of them are all that great or tell you anything that insightful which is odd for such an iconic artist.
But I think she has one or two great albums left in her. I'm not ready for her to look back that much yet!

I'd be all over an auto-biography whenever she wants to do one (who knows what's round the corner ... I'm gutted Prince was planning his and we'll never get to read it). Her brother's book was certainly a gripping read, if controversial from a motivations point of view.
As for demos, I love hearing the gestation of a song and the different versions. In some cases I prefer the earlier versions ... the early demo of Music is way better than the eventual single IMO, closer to the trance sound of Ray of Light album.

speaking of demos....remember all those incredible demos we heard from the Rebel Heart sessions? Wow! I think she should have taken all of those and compiled it into an exclusive 2-CD set that you could buy on the tour.
Myself I'm a sucker for instrumentals. They show the studio craftsmanship and the attention to details. It's like having X-ray vision. Well, hearing.
The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose
Don't Ever Lose Your Dreams

To me,it's very important for major artists to write their autobiography....to tell their story in their own words, set the record straight about alot of things, and give the readers a sense of who they really are.Unfortunately,Prince wasn't able to do this and so all we're gonna get is a bunch of tell-all books from old girlfriends and associates. This is why I'm so adamant about Madonna writing her autobiography. She has a truly fascinating story and legacy.I want her story to be told before someone else tries to tell it.

That's true to some extent, but you can also get that from interviews. Madonna has done quite a few interviews where we have heard her side of things and where you can get a sense of what she is like. I worry that the book would just tell us the same as we already heard in numerous interviews. Prince was a bit different as he avoided interviews and the media for the most part.
I think it would be nice if she wrote her autobiography but not essential as she has always been pretty open with the media about her life and how she feels about her work.
