WHY DOES EVERTHING SOUND THE SAME With a few wxceptions, everything sounds the same, maybe its just me.
I'm so sick of music these days, everyone acts like each other, looks like each other, dances the same, even the hand gestures in R&B looks so dumb for all the women who sing and try and do old Aretha hand movements. I cannot stand Mariah, Whitney, Christina Agulera (with her stupid wannabe soulful) hand movements, someone out to mummify them so we don't have to see or hear them. It's all so disappointing. >< | |

Thats what corporate music does... it takes the soul away, which is the essence of music.

I've also noticed how many many bands or acts are left behind once the record companies got a hit off of them.
It's a perpetual one hit wonder scenario now. I see these "new" rock bands on COnan or wherever and just after like a few seconds you know they suck or don't and you can tell that the ones that suck are still in the garage. Just that the're cool because they dress like bums! I've geven up on radio too. I just gather all me jams and record them onto my MiniDiscs and that's my new radio station, my favorites! | |

Its sad how I am forced to listen to all my old stuff over and over. Once in awhile a friend of mine burns cds for me, he knows my taste, so maybe things will eventually change. Somehow the radio can become like the internet, free forum...oh that would be great *** | |
