I think it's fun to have someone who is so far out from the "norm". SUre, Peter Burns is sometimes a figure to laugh at, but if you eversee him in an unedited and unmanipulated interview, he's actually very intelligent.

Still, my fav TV appearance from him recently has been the ever-manipulated Never Mind The Buzzcocks one when they painted him to be a crazy freak. But I can't resist the charms of Mark Lamaar.

I've heard Peter say he can't STAND "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)," but here he goes re-releasing it AGAIN! I love Dead or Alive.

Pete is a bit sick of Spin, but the recording (it's not a mix, it's a new recording - produced by Metro) - the new version has given him a new angle for which to perform it.

Plus if the best of does relatively well, it will lead to new material on international release (there past few albums have been Japanese only) - DOA are the original "Big in Japan" grouo


Michael Jackson once had to re-schedule the Japanese dates on one of his tours so that it didn't clash with DOA

pete is a mess and i would'nt have it any other way.

saw them a few years ago for the release of nukleopatra in NYC. had a great time.

pete has called "spin" his "albatros". (i think that's a good thing?) he said he's sick of it but it never fails to make him money

like a pirate's good luck charm i'm guessing

Their last album. with "I Paralyze" was great! That dude needs to chill out with his lips though.
