We did it even better. We had "This Christmas" and A Motown Christmas, the best Christmas anthology ever compiled.

  1. "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Andy Williams
  2. "Christmas Spirit" (the album) by Donna Summer
  3. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey
  4. "Carol Of The Bells" by Pentatonix
  5. "Carol Of The Bells" by Point Of Grace
  6. "Carol Of The Bells" by The Pointer Sisters
  7. "Do You Hear What I Hear?" by Deniece Williams
  8. "Rosie Christmas" by Donna Summer

Out of the small 31 Christmas songs I do have, these are the ones I tend to gravitate towards the most. I'm always adding songs to my collection. This lists I see here will help me Of course, Donna Summer is still my favorite above them all:)

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Thank you for sharing. I wasn't familiar with Vanessa's version of WCIT, but I watched the video and REALLY liked it. I listen to a lot of Christmas/holiday music, and this version of WCIT did not "ring a bell," but it's quite possible I've heard it at some point a long time ago and just don't remember.

I genuinely love Here Comes Santa and Little Drummer Boy Bob Dylan's versions.

That's a weird little record, isn't it? I also like Do You Hear What I Hear and Christmas Blues.

I'm playing a Christmas party next week and I'm thinking about starting Wham's "Last Christmas" but then forcing my hands to resist playing "Whamageddon" and breaking into "Christmas Wrapping" instead.

I don't know about GREAT but I bought Gwen's Christmas CD this year and have been enjoying that. I have a thing for Nat King Cole's voice around the holidays, it's sooo smooth. Sounds of Blackness...maybe even relive being a kid and pull out Glenn Miller's band.
