Dark Side of Oz

Maybe a few orger here know of this, but has anybody heard of watching The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of The Moon" as an alternative soundtrack? Here's what you do:

1. Get the Pink Floyd Cd and Wizard of Oz movie(preferably on DVD).

2. Set the Pink Floyd CD on pause at the first song.

3. Start the movie(turn movie volume all the way down).

4. When the MGM lion does it's third roar immediately play the CD.

5. Watch and enjoy!

What follows is an amazing sychronization of the music and what's going on the movie. I'm not gonna mention what those are, just see for yourself.Do this once and check this site for a detailed analysis of the synchronizations:

Remember, watch it once then check out the site, you'll be amazed!

My favorite is when the actress who plays the wicked witch first appears on her bicycle and on cue, a gang of cuckoo clocks starts going! chilling!

Yes, there is a whole lot of coincidences, but the members of Pink Floyd deny the fact that they did this on purpose...

My favorite is when they get to Oz, and knock on the big green door, the guy opens the door, says who is it, and our pizza arrives.

A friend of mine once invited me over to come and check
out this dark side of the moon/wiz of oz thing and I
think it's pretty fcking great. I've seen a lot of web
sites about this after that and it still fascinates me.

Perhaps even more than the dozen of "satan" shouts in
Led Zep's reversed Stairway To Heaven.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
