The double CD of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust soundtrack is copy controlled. When I popped it in my computer, it installs its own player to play the music. Does anyone know if this is connected with the copy control technology? And if this is the only way I can listen to the CDs on my computer?

I highly doubt it, Bowie has done shit like this b4 (an ad for Bowienet on the reissues)... I have a japanese one disc version, all they really added to the 'new release' were the orchestral bits and a new track for the suicide (oh PLEASE). I'll probably get it anyway, because I'm a bowie Space Oddity era - Let's Dance completist...
