I have this album but haven't listened to it in years, so forgot about this song. I did hear The Floor on the radio about a month ago. I was surprised about that because generally I only hear My My My all the time from that era. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. Listening to it now, part of the music sounds like Turn Back The Hands Of Time by Tyrone Davis. Not a sample, but replayed.
