They're not supposed to be twins - in any show. They just need to have similarities, so you can concentrate on the story. No one looked like Whitney, or Bobby, or Toni, etc. It's about the haircuts, the makeup, and the clothes. Hell, did you see the girl they had playing Missy Elliott in that one movie?? Even when Missy got skinny she wasn't that thin. I don't really pay attention to that kind of shit.

Second, I saw pieces of this, and like every other schmaltzy movie or bio - it's garbage. You can't fit everything into 90 minutes of film and expect to be anything other than a glossing over of everything anyway.

They gave her a sideways cap. That was in Aaliyah's biopic right? I believe casting for someone's likeness should be better when the part does not demand an earth-shaking performance (that could have been any other actress).

Hey believe me, I ain't defending any of it. haha As I noted, I never watch those things, because they're garbage. Even the partially sanctioned An American Dream was cheesy and the MJ character emoted way too much. Like, was MJ ever happy? He just pouted all the damn time in that movie. It's why if there's ever a Lifetime about Prince - or anything else, fahgetaboutit. Even if Scorcese himself directed a Prince biopic, I'd still shoot side-eye first.

This movie was terrible. I still can't believe he agreed to this role. As an actor, you can't take every role and you have to know your lane. This movie was never authorized by MJ so a lot of the movie is based on tabloid and lies. The acting, casting, make up, etc was a hot mess and an embarrassment to a legend that deserved better.

this type of movie never would have been made or needed to be made when this really meant something.....

never would have been doing during the years of OTW or Thriller....

and if the dominant society wasn't so headstrong and demand people like this to change their being to extreme levels, we wouldn't have to worry about this type of depiction being made
