They did do one funk/jazz tune, Michael Frank's B'wana She No Home. Pure jazzy funk delight with truly silly lyrics:

She is one of the best singers ever and I wish she did more funky/soul songs. She went off on this!

She was amazing and a very talented woman. She is one of my top favorites ever

one of the great pure voices of all time... her, Nat King Cole, Luther Vandross and Dionne Warwick were the most effortless singers ive ever heard
