I never liked Dru Hill and Jodeci. When I was growing up in the 70s,we had groups like The Delfonics,The Stylistics,The Spinners,The O'Jays.....quality groups who knew how to harmonize. When I hear a song by a group like Dru Hill, all I hear is a lead singer who yells during the choruses.I'm like "change the station, please" lol

Never liked the majority of popstars today, Beyonce, Bieber, Timberlake, Swift, Kanye... they're all shit if you ask me. Only modern artists who are halfway decent are The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran and Janelle Monae... and even they don't hold a candle to the old guys.

In terms of real music, I never liked AC/DC or Led Zeppelin or U2... three very overrated bands imo.

.

How about '5 Steps' by Dru? It has Woody on the first verse, Jazz on the second, and Sisqo on the bridge (and also handling most of the ad libs on the choruses, as usual).

.

.

And just for the hell of it, the interpretation by Legaci. 'Cause I have to rep my Austronesians!

.

.

I don't want your rhythm without your rhyme

Agree, I have always found them overrated, never got into their music.

I will add Ginuwine to that list. I actually could tolerate Dru Hill and Jodeci more than

Ginuwine. I just happened to hear one of his songs on the radio called Last Chance.

I had to change the station or I would have drove my truck through the Hardee's

nearby in a fit of rage. That dude sings like he's on Roids. lol

Don't laugh at my funk

You're right on with this one. Her music is bland as pointless as hell.

Lauryn fucking Hill.

I really tried to.

That "Miseducation.." just didn't hit with me, even the Fugees material, yuck. That "Killing Me Softly" remake? Please. Let's put a tired breakbeat on a loop and sing the original, and have the lesser talented rapper chime in with "One time" on the hook.

Fucking, boo.

I totally agree with that "Killing Me Softly" remake. Looking back at the popularity of that song makes me lol.

I remember when their version of "Killing Me Softly" came out. My roommate at the time, who LOVED Al B Sure, heard it and said, "Who the FUCK are the Fugees?!?!?"

There's a sh*t load but I'll pick someone recent. And that pick would be Sam Smith. I absolutely HATE Stay With Me.

For the life of me i can't understand why people lost their sh*t over dude. To me his music is bland. He sings well enough but personally i really can't differentiate between him and most other recent pop artists. The only song of his that i do like is Restart.

As far as artists who have been around for a while. I would probably have to go with Mary J Blige. Her music has never done anything for me.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
