Is there any genre of music you can not stand?

Just an open question here, since there are so many, favourite songs of so and so threads here.

This thread is about genres of music you can't stand and artists to if you like.

.

Preferably stick to artists and musical genres that are well known (So no flute solos by your neighbour or some artist who is only known in one town). I'll start.

.

Genre's I can't stand

.

Modern hip hop (Virtually any rap/hip hop song made after 1997)

Crunk rap/trap rap

Gangster rap

Ass shaking video ho Shaniqua type music

Anything with looped in beatz and trend rap like Silento

Kanye/Jay Z rap

Beyonce/Rhianna Illuminati hoe type music

Any artist or musician in orbit those fish lipped, big bootied bimboes the Kardashians

White boy douchebag rock/pop like Maroon 5/ One Republic etc

Boy band/Justin Bieber music

Disney Kiddie Pop

Britney spares/Christina Aggalera/ Megan trainer type shit.

Cocaine Jones music (Bruno Mars etc)

R and B like Chris Brown

Thrash metal

All forms of Christian pop music.

and my lest favourite music of all time

..............................

DEATH METAL ..... Shit like Kryptospy, Deicide any song with zabba zabba style guitars, frantic drumming and some guy grunting or screaming in it.

.

I used to dislike country, but you cannot be a Bob Dylan fan without coming across it any more than you can be a Prince fan without hearing the funk. So I can dig it now and Johnny Cash is pretty good. Dylan sings a lot of Sinatra covers nowadays, but that's a genre that I still cannot get into.

Also, house, dance, hiphop (shithop as Vain Andy would say.)

A recent concert in the park in my hometown maade me realize French chansons aren't my thing either. (Although I love Jacques Brel)

Symphonic rock like Queen, Pink Floyd... No, not for me.

And then singers only Dutch orgers will recognize such as Jan Smit and Marco Borsato... Nee, geef mijn portie maar aan Fikkie...

Autotuned Hip Hop

"The Black Eyed Peas" and anything related

Heavy Metal

Religious Pop Music

I do enjoy trap beats, I believe in the genre itself to be as valid as drum-n-bass or dubstep in terms of validity and creativity. However alot of the rappers are awful, as with drum-n-bass or dubstep. I prefer instrumental or melodic shit like Sango or Kastle.

Even if I don't like certain genres, I've learned to tolerate them and be able to take away something I enjoy.

With that being said, I can live without country (especially today's shallow, hollowed-out, party rap-inspired, country in name alone type of country), EDM, death metal, screamo rock, satanic rock, indie acoustic, modern Top 40 and modern R&B. Don't care for neo-soul either.

I do not like trap music; I don't like modern R&B pop, or modern pop-rock. I don't like
dub step; and I don't like punk music. I don't like singer-songwriter stuff, nor do I like
70s soft cock west coast pop-rock. I'm not a fan of 90s grunge or 90s alternative.

This is a lot, but there are so many other genres that I absolutely adore!

He did a great job tanking Michael Jackson's career, and Brandy's career, and Whitney's career, and Toni Braxton's career... hits so contemporary and memorable they never had any others after him.

No I like Beatles and Stones, new line unrelated to line above.

.

Maori music is msic made by my native people, generally known in New Zealand only. In America or whatever country you are in, you may find it under "World Music", famous artists include Inia Te Wiata, Prince Tui Teka and Herbs. Lot of Maori music also crosses over into pop and soul as well. maori Reggae (Herbs, Katchafire, Kora) is also popular.

.

One song that crossed over was "Now is the hour" which was an old Maori song called Po Ata Rau. Traditional Maori music is mostly cahnting like the haka and early modern music uses the guitar and ukulele like Hawaiian music. Maori music is very dynamic covering a wide range except rock and hard metal, as Moari music borrowed heavily off Black music rather than white.

I used to dislike banda, but damnit it just sucks me in sometimes lol

Quite honestly I don't think there's a genre I don't listen to. My ipod ranges from Country, Trap, Jazz, R&B, Bollywood, Latin (all kinds), Soul, Rock, Reggae, Pop, everything. And I genuinely love them all. The only thing I can think of is that headbanging screamo shit lol Is that even a genre? Lol

- Edit. I lied. House music. Majority of it I can't stand. Some songs here and there I like but for the most part....if all I can do is fist pump we have a problem

I don't like that song either. His herky-jerky rhythms and sound effects annoy the fuck outta me.
A good example is "Bills, Bills, Bills" by Destiny's Child. He had some cool stuff: "The Boy Is Mine"
and "Full Moon" by Brandy, but yeah . . . he's wack, imo.

I don't know about him tanking careers; and I don't know if your post is sarcastic or not. I just know
that his production values annoyed me with the "gobble-gobble-gobble" rubbery sound effects he
liked to place in some of his tunes.

No me digas que te gusta esa músca, por cierto no es tanto así como tradicional, yo llamaría tradicional a músca folklórica. Creo que a los extranjeros blancos de no habla hispana ese tipo de música sí les gusta mucho.

I hate country because of the steel guitar.

I hate calyspo because of the steel drums.

I just hate steel apparently lol, but I'm open to all genres in general if there is some SOUL involved.

Contemporary country. Not all of it. Just a certain brand of songs that are basically pop songs sung with a twang. Each one about how they're so country and such rednecks, all while standing on stage in Gucci and Prada.

That irks me.
