I'd say go! But yes not the original line up by any means, still a good fun show if you can make it and tickets are available.

Some monsters I don't think anyone called out are pumpin it up (12 inch version remix), rumpofsteelskin and undisco kidd. Then there's more bounce to the ounce that could be considered a p-funk effort.

Yes, they were mind blowing live. I was born in 78 so I missed them the first time around (saw George in Brixton in 98’ though). I have the “Earth Tour” album on vinyl, and some of the bootlegged shows from the 70s are unbelievable.

More Bounce is Dr Funk's track. He took Funky Bounce and looped a piece of it. Gave to Roger and Bootsy and said make somn outta this. Says Roger hated the track. Irony is that became the Zapp sound and every hit thereafter bore similarity to it. One of the first funk loops. Clinton had been toying around with the phrase more bounce to the ounce, may have been a drug reference I do not know.

As I have always understood More Ounce To The Bounce is about tits. It makes sense, the bigger they are the more they bounce.
