Film a video featuring hand grenades, George Bush etc and ensure yourself some 1st class PR by either (a) showing the video - causes great offence or (b) pull the video causing much internet activity and speculation (just look at us here for chrissakes!) Guaranteed column inches either way. Like I say - she's a smart cookie alright. But her true talent lies in PR and self promotion. This isnt entirely a bad thing of course. We kind of have 2 extremes here - Madge a PR guru of questionable musical innovativeness (?) and Prince - a musical genius in serious need of some PR and promotion!! Now if he only had an ounce of Madge's PR touch... | |

I might be repeating myself but the damage seems to be done. Madonna can't get the song played on Clear Channel, so unless the single sells a million copies (which could happen but I doubt it) the song and the album will likely do bad. I don't know if Madonna can take on the entire media and the government (which appear to be the same thing these days). Its just to hard! | |
