Ultra cool dance tracks #1 : Rhythm is a dancer Snap's Rhythm is a dancer has endured the test of time, and is still one of dance's undisputed floorfillers.
The way the song starts iwth the synth and evolves is beautiful. Recently a new mix hit the airwaves and caused some major chartings across Europe! If u have not heard this dance classic , u surely must try it ! Rating on Starbuck's Cool Cuts Chart: 9 out of 10 "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

Stupidest lyric ever - "I'm serious as cancer when I say rhythm is a dancer". Erm, no you're not.

Snap! are not cool.
Next you'll be telling me that 2 Unlimited were the creative highpoint of the 90s and that Partners in Kryme's 'Turtle Power' is a movie-related classic!! I need a fix of the Apollo Oct 3rd show... get me off this thread before I dredge up more dire 90s tracks from the depths of my memory...

although I don't share ur comments I'm glad u responded!
In the lyrics defense though!! It's a dance track, so lyrics are not important "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

In the lyrics defense though!! It's a dance track, so lyrics are not important If lyrics aren't important then why include them in the first place? "I'm as serious as cancer..." for heavens sake!! Check out the track "Children" (name of the DJ escapes me) for a truly classic instrumental dance track

Absolute CLASSIC! I adore it. Notice it was re-written TWICE shortly after its release in the form of "More and More and More" by Captain Hollywood Project and "Mr. Vain" by Culture Beat.

Well the line "I'm serious as cancer" was taken from Eric B and Rakim's "I Ain't No Joke". Yet when used there it was more of an 80s thing and used under a different situation. The line seemed more tasteless in Snap's novelty hit I agree...
