Looking for songs with growling vocals. i.e. Whitney Huston in "So Emotional" or Sevie Wonder "As" and "Living for the City" male or female. Another good example is Charlie Wilson in the Gap Band in the song "Burn Rubber". There were a few New Jack Swing artists who implemented it as well, althought I can't remember. | |

I was thinking more along the lines of Charlie Wilson. Like the song "Open Up Your Mind (Wide)" off of Gap Band I. https://www.youtube.com/w...TWrn8mgt40 @ 1:37, 1:52, 2:02, and the big one at 5:34.
