Lana del Rey, any fans here??
Finally saw Lana del Rey last weekend, at Werchter Classic in Belgium. Her vocals were on top, she the high notes like it was nothing. Too bad though that the majority of the crowd came for The Boss and were acting like jerks during her performance. I really love her music. It so cinematic, Twin Peakslike, melancholic. Shades of cool gets me everytime, the lush arrangement, the swooping vocals. Just asking any fans here? And what's your fave song, album by her?? "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

Yep - big fan. Her music sounds like a modern day soundtrack for some film noir. Loving the current Honeymoon album. "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..."

I can't really say I'm a "fan" because I don't know much of her music. However, her song "West Coast" is so good! I can never listen to it just once. I'm also a big Disney person, so I love her version of "Once Upon a Dream" for Maleficent. From now on, 4 U I shall be wild 💜

Only song I know from her is "Cola".

I am a fan of her music. My favorite is the Ultraviolence album, especially the sequence of the first 5 songs peaking with the ultraviolet West Coast.

Thanks for your replies, I forgot to include my own favorite album
It's hard to choose a favorite album as each one has its own mood. I tend to go for Ultraviolence though. Because of the psychedelic touch it has (and more guitar sounds). I bought Born to die on release but really started paying attention to it 2 years back. Slowly but surely her music has imbedded itself in my mind.
Also love the fact that there are demos floating around.
Also heard she's already working on a new album "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I follow her career closely. There are some genuine works of art on my most loved collection by her, Ultraviolence , for instance, the hypnotizing "West Coast" and "The Other Woman".

Love her. I Love U, But I Don't Trust U Anymore...

Lana Del Rey does to me what David Lynch used to do with his surreal, non-linear neo-noir flicks (Mulholland Dr, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks...) Like you said starbuk, she's cinematic and very intriguing. Ultraviolence is her finest album so far IMO.

> I want to say people just won't let her live down her SNL debut, but at least critics are starting to come around. She even made the year end Pazz and Jop Critics Poll for "Ultrviolence".

Boy did she get slammed when she first came out Yeah, she did especially because she happened to come from a rich family so I guess people didn't like that. [Edited 7/15/16 11:09am] Love is God,

I do have to admit her live singing has gotten WAY better as of late.

Not a fan at all, but are you saying she was on the same bill as Bruce Springsteen?
