TV One's All This Love The DeBarge Story, coming, soon All This Love: The Debarge Family Story The world-famous DeBarge siblings sought to escape a life of abuse and rejection to become one of the most successful families in R&B music, second only to the Jacksons. From Switch and DeBarge to solo acts, the DeBarges enjoyed fame, wealth and gold-record status, but behind the scenes, the siblings were haunted by the ghosts of their past and deeply scarred by years of emotional and physical abuse. They inevitably fell prey to promiscuity, violence and drug addiction, sending their careers into a downward spiral from which they never fully recovered. All This Love will be the second installment of the Unsung Film Series. Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

confuzzled. It's a film with actual actors or another Unsung ep? [Edited 4/19/16 19:42pm] "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

In fairness, the original Unsung episode about DeBarge needs to be updated. Keep in mind that El [who declined] & Chico were never interviewed the first time.

Great idea for a movie! Hey, did the Miki Howard movie ever air? I don't have TV One. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

I wonder if Jermaine & Janet Jackson are going to be mentioned, especially since Jermaine got both Switch & DeBarge a record deal with Motown. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I love DeBarge, but they're not second to the Jacksons in family department. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Keep in mind Tommy, Mark, Daryl and Carol were not interviewed either. I wish they had included interviews with Phillip Ingram,Eddie Fluellen and Jody Sims. I really liked Switch.

As far as I know Tommy & Mark are still alive.. I hope for the casting they go for actors that aren't well known. IMO these TV movies so far have been poorly done.
