The fact that you think "Irreplaceable" and "If I Were a Boy" are songs about forgiving someone.............

I have no problem to revisit all his old stuff almost 24x7. The last 3 weeks I have rediscocered songs which I haven't been listening to for many, many years. But not HNR2. I know it will be the last new official Prince work I will ever have. I just can't. Not yet.

She wrote on "Irreplaceable".
Either way... so? They're still not about forgiving someone.

My point is that she covers the same topics with each of her releases. The subject that she talks about on this album is no different from her last album and previous albums. There is no growth at all. Ive listened to the clips and I am not impressed. Rihanna's album is way better. Beyonce can shit out daisies and some of you all will still call it genius, its ridiculous.

My point is that EVIDENTLY you will pull bullshit out of your brain and find some way to hate on Beyoncé. And "Irreplaceable" and "If I Were a Boy" are still not songs about forgiving someone. "If I Were a Boy" isn't even necessarily about cheating.
The "subject" on this album is an arc of betrayal, anguish, forgiveness. Where was this on her previous album? Actually find a single song in Beyoncé's catalog that is about forgiveness. I'll wait (forever).
Rihanna's album of rejected, badly sung demos does not compare to this in any favorable way. Not even the song where she ripped off "Superpower".
Beyoncé could pull the cure for cancer out of her pussy and you would still sit up whining about why she couldn't resurrect MJ, or something. Foolish.

Actually the song was done when she received it from Ne-Yo she added an melody for a writing credit. Like she always does.
If I Was A Boywritten by BC Jean and Toby Gad, who also handled its production alongside Beyoncé. Inspired by the difficult break-up of a romantic relationship, the song was initially recorded by Jean, whose record company rejected it. Beyoncé then recorded her own version. Jean was upset when she learned that Beyoncé was releasing it as a single, but eventually they reached an agreement.[Edited 5/12/16 17:21pm] Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. If she added a melody, it wasn't "done".

I streamed every preview clip of HitNRunII the day it hit Tidal, but expected it to eventually make its way to CD.

Yeah, I'm aware, as a high priced Paisley Park collectible.

The visual for Lemonade is a LOT to take in. I'm glad I got acquainted with the album first before taking a splash into the movie.

So i still havent listened to the full project but Love Drought was playing on the radio. I was shocked to find out that was her. I wonder how much she really wrote on this track with Mike Dean and Ingrid Burley.
Beyoncé’s LEMONADE is filled with incredible artistry and stunning imagery. One of the most striking images for me on the visual album, though, occurs in the video for “Love Drought”. Much has been said about how LEMONADE draws influence from Julie Dash’s Daughters of the Dust, but less has been said in these same conversations about how the story of Igbo Landing is central to Daughters of the Dust and how the story of Igbo Landing- an act of mass resistance against slavery-also shows up in a really pronounced manner in the “Love Drought” Video.
