6 Inch is reportedly the first single...

According to the physical Lemonade DVD will include a 'making of' documentary.

Lemonade (Deluxe) is still to come! It will feature a collaboration with another huge female artist.

I am in the thread because I am expressing my opinion and the reason why I mentioned the writers is because media outlets are comparing this album to Prince as if she is some prolific genius and Im sorry that is ridiculous especially considering she doesnt write any of the music herself. She is getting labeled as someone who is being vunerable but how so when she has not written any of the music herself? Again it seems like nothing more than a marketing ploy and she has sunged about all these issues before in her music. I agreed with the other poster that she is beyond overrated at this point.

I find it funny how some always fawn over everything little thing Beyonce does. Its actually kind of creepy. Rihanna's album dropped not to long ago and it was a more artistic effort and growth but nobody had nothing say about it.

[Edited 4/27/16 6:00am]

Well, Prince disagreed with you.

I didn't compare her to Prince, so I don't know why you felt the need to come for my opinion and interpretation of the songs. Can you really not handle seeing someone's different views?

And she co-wrote every single song on the album, which she's never done before. So now you'll complain that she bought the credit of course.

Perhaps nobody bothered with a Rihanna thread because every artist who wasn't popular in the 1980s is shot down on here? I used to be a regular here years ago and y'all were still complaining about Beyonce and Rihanna back then too. Don't you get bored?

People kill me with this b.s., yall make it seem like Prince called her a genius. Prince only said that she was talented. Just like he felt a lot of other artists were talented. He did not call her a genius or call her a visionary like these media outlets are doing and I am not offended by anything. I was giving an opinion on a comment you stated just like how you came in here and insisted people did not understand her music

Doesn't change the fact that he liked her and her music, so clearly he didn't give a shit if her songs had 1 or 100 writers. Prince wouldn't share the stage with an artist whose work he didn't like lmao please stop with the music elitest shit, it's so goddamn boring. Music is music, not everyone has to like it the way you do. You like songs written by one person? Cool, go listen to em. Again, gotta ask why you'd come into a thread about an artist just to criticise them and just to pick apart differing opinions from yours. How sad.

If you clear a sample, every writer of the song appears in your new credits. After "Blurred Lines", there were some extra songs cleared JUST IN CASE someone thought they were close. On this album, the ones with a kajillion writers are just sampled works.

Where did I say you had to like her? Can you really not understand that your music elitest opinion doesn't apply to people who are fans of her work? If people want to write here about their interpretation of the music, they should be able to without some snob coming in and responding with "How is she vulnerable? This song had 10 writers". I said she seems vulnerable because that's how she sings a good portion of these songs. If I said "Meryl Streep seems vulnerable in this film" you wouldn't say "She didn't even write the script, she's clearly faking it...". No shit, I don't care, as long as it's convincing. I find this album convincing, whether or not it's entirely factual I DON'T CARE, it works for me, and judging by the rave reviews, it works for a lot of people. It doesn't mean any of us are wrong for feeling that way, we are ALLOWED to like something you don't. There was no need for you to respond to me in the first place. You saw a different opinion to yours and couldn't cope, how embarrassing.

Beyonce’s concert at Nissan Stadium scheduled for next Thursday has been postponed, Live Nation announced.

In a release, Live Nation said the rescheduled date will be announced in the future. Tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date.

The reason for the postponement is unclear. Jimmy Stanton, the Tennessee Titans' vice president of communications, told Channel 4 that Nissan Stadium was ready and able to host the concert.

Rumors began swirling on social media early Friday that the show had been postponed. Live Nation confirmed it Friday afternoon.

Beyonce will be in Tampa Friday night for the second stop on the Formation World Tour. Nashville was set to be the fifth stop.

Tour insiders told Channel 4 that tour preparations in Miami have been exhausting. Moving the show from Miami to Tampa was more difficult than anticipated.

Some logistical adjustments and time off for the crew was reportedly needed.

Renovations are underway at Nissan Stadium, but officials said that is not what caused the postponement.

You've got a real knack for missing the point. I've said about six times now you can like whatever you want. Just don't come into a thread for opinions and be surprised when people feel differently to you. If you had an actual point, I'd hear you out. "This song has more than one songwriter" is not a valid criticism whatsoever, it's nitpicking.

Of the newly released Lemonade songs (i.e., all except "Formation"), "Sorry" was streamed the most in the tracking week, logging 14.2 million U.S. streams, while "Hold Up" racked up the highest sales: 123,000 downloads in its first week. The sultry "6 Inch," featuring The Weeknd, starts with the third-highest weekly domestic streams (12.2 million) and sales (99,000).

Here's a look, song by song, at Beyonce's dozen tracks apiece on the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs:

Beyonce on Hot 100 (all debuts)

Position, Title
No. 10, "Formation"
No. 11, "Sorry"
No. 13, "Hold Up"
No. 18, "6 Inch," featuring The Weeknd
No. 28, "Don't Hurt Yourself," featuring Jack White
No. 35, "Freedom," featuring Kendrick Lamar
No. 37, "Pray You Catch Me"
No. 38, "All Night"
No. 41, "Daddy Lessons"
No. 43, "Sandcastles"
No. 47, "Love Drought"
No. 63, "Forward," featuring James Blake

Beyonce on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs

Meanwhile, with four top 10s on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Beyonce becomes the only woman to earn that many concurrent top 10s. She ties the all-time record, previously set by Drake, Eminem, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and 50 Cent. Here are her one re-entry and 11 debuts on the chart this week:

Position, Title
No. 6, "Formation" (re-entry, new peak)
No. 7, "Sorry"
No. 8, "Hold Up"
No. 10, "6 Inch," featuring The Weeknd
No. 16, "Don't Hurt Yourself," featuring Jack White
No. 21, "Freedom," featuring Kendrick Lamar
No. 22, "Pray You Catch Me"
No. 23, "All Night"
No. 26, "Daddy Lessons"
No. 27, "Sandcastles"
No. 28, "Love Drought"
No. 30, "Forward" featuring James Blake

The rollout of Lemonade was led by the premiere of the visual film of the same name on HBO April 23, immediately followed by the exclusive release of the bundled album (12 songs and the film) to Tidal. The set went on sale through other digital retailers April 25, while Tidal continues to hold the exclusivity for streaming. Physical copies of Lemonade will be available on May 6.

Updates:

  • Lemonade has gone gold in the UK after just two weeks
  • Every song from the album has charted on the Hot 100.
  • Debuted at #1 in US and UK but was outsold by Drake.
  • New tour dates as above.
  • Next single in the USA is probably Sorry.
  • Beyonce was NOT fined by the city of Raleigh for continuing her show in the rain
  • James Blake said "She was just lovely. With somebody at that level, you can never really be sure, just because there’s so many people involved in a record, but she’s such an accomplished writer and singer." He also said Blue Ivy liked the song Forward lol
  • Adele says Lemonade left her speechless.
  • Beyonce invested in a water company called WTRMLN.
  • Rita Ora is doing the MOST to deny she's "becky with the good hair", wearing a "not becky" badge at Met Gala and tagging a pic of her and Beyonce with "family".
