Neil Young

Props to Neil Young. I have been really getting into him. Decade is flawless. Live Rust...one of the best live records ever. After the Gold Rush another gem.

Any other Neil fans out there? List faves.

surprise, surprise that this man gets mentioned on prince.org !
trying to play guitar with more advanced friends 25 years ago it was mostly his songs we "tried" to cover.
"Harvest" is a classic, but I've not followed his music up to now nor have I been to a concert ...
some of my fav songs are: Long may U run, The needle and the damage done, Heart of gold, Cowgirl in the sand, Pocahontas,Like a hurricane, I am a child...

Yeah. I'm a big fan. The cat's almost another Dylan. Was once in a band with Rick James too, plus he's toured with Booker T & The MGs. Favourite - and hugely recommended - albums:

Rust Never Sleeps
Harvest Moon
Tonight's The Night
On The Beach*
Freedom
Ragged Glory
Weld (Live)
Sleeps With Angels
Broken Arrow

*This is one of his greatest ever albums, but it's long been deleted. You can read the whole story about the album and download it from www.dergunerz.freeserve.co.uk - a site devoted to getting Neil to releasing the album.
