Yep it's basically a Prince tribute down to the "2" in the title. Sadly besides this one and one or two others he couldn't keep a tight vibe going on "NOW" IMO.

But Urban Hang Suite was hardly ignored. It's still his most popular album.

I like Maxwel, although his live performance needs some schooling ! He's one off my favourite singers.

Did you SEE him at Paradiso, the first time he performed there?

It was awsome!

It is his songwriting that needs a kick in the ass!

I agree with this yeah, his voice is never in doubt more his ability to write quality songs. "Fortunate" (written by R. Kelly) being arguably his best song since the debut album speaks volumes...

He's one of the few solo performers that has his own style that translates wonderfully live. He's mesmerizing and the ambience especially from the first tour had an etheral quality to it. I really thought I was in a dream. He doesn't need to change that. He's still kind of a mystery. You don't hear too much about him, which is a good thing cuz it would mostly be gossip, but part of me wants to know more about him.

Great Point.I Like Maxwell&think He is one of the Best Musical Acts since the 90's IMHO.Live He is Really Good&the Cat has a Nice Voice but alot of Hit&Miss Material.with the right balance the Cat could have a Good Run still if given a fair shake.
