song called "Fulton St." ??? Hey,
I've had a song on tape since 1998, I think, which I recorded from "Q the Beat" radio and I've never been able to find out who the singer is. It's a female performer and she has a very nice soft voice. I think the song might be called "Fulton St" since that comes up quite a few times. It's mid-tempo and here are some of the lyrics... [part of a verse] Cruisin' down on Fulton Street Sometimes we bring food to eat for our homies living on the street... (...) [chorus] I used to pass around this way checking your 4 by 4 every day hoping that you would notice me But never did I dream You'd swing your phat jeep round my way cellphone check me every day... If anybody knows I'll be very very greatful. Thank You!! [This message was edited Mon Mar 24 9:18:58 PST 2003 by IstenSzek] and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I know, the lyrics are pretty lame, but it's a very beautiful voice and I was just wondering if she's a solo artist and wether or not she has a full album. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The singer's name is Leschea and the song is entitled “Fulton St.” It’s from her 1997 album “Rhythm & Beats” (Warner Bros.) and is available at amazon.com. The album's producers included Masta Ace, Lord Finesse, DJ Mister Cee, Dirtman and Savion Hamilton. I thought I was the only one that remembered that song. The video came on like one time on BET many years ago, but I still remember it. Hope I helped [This message was edited Wed Mar 26 11:47:31 PST 2003 by JANFAN4L]

When I saw the lyrics I just KNEW it was about Fulton St. Brooklyn! (And what a coincidence too! I was thinking about making a stop there after work today.
