yonce prepping her return in 16

MCM reports that Beyonce will begin filming a new music video, which is supposedly for the lead single from her new album, with filming starting on December 14th and continuing until December 20th.

While there is no proof of this, two posts have gone viral on Facebook and Twitter which support this news.

According to UnrealityTV, French choreographer Zack Reece apparently posted a casting call to Facebook for dancers to star in Beyonce’s new music video, but the post was deleted almost immediately.

In addiition, the day after Reece posted the casting call, Twitter user @isiah_taylor posted a tweet which stated that his mother will be working on the Beyonce shoot in New Orleans when it takes place next week.

“My mom is filming videos with Beyonce in New Orleans in two weeks,” the tweet reads, which is still live on the social networking website.

Is it all a coincidence? It’s hard to tell for sure, but Hits Daily Double did report a few weeks ago that Beyonce’s sixth studio album was an “Expected Release” at the end of 2015, so if Beyonce does release a new single in early 2016, then those reports were not too far off from being right.

Is it gonna be labeled a "comeback"? I'm sure they will use the hype promo tool right away, and then of course the old reliable BS line...."best album since.." Put the hype into doing a good record, these artists don't get it.

Time just goes by fast. The Beyonce album came out 2 years ago. Technically, it is time for a new album.

Yaay! Can't wait. It's been since 2013... Almost 3 yrs now.

Anyways, hope it is a mix of Bday, Beyoncé album, and some of that Fela Kuti inspired stuff she recorded.

First of all "Beyonce" came out at the tailend of 2013. December, if I remember correctly. So most of the hype and hoopla went easily into 2014.

-

I think she just knows how to keep her name out there. For instance, wasn't the song "7/11" released as a bonus cut on an alternate version of her "Beyonce" album? Well after the buzz of the album, and singles, she released "7/11". So now it seems like the album gained new life but she really just release one new song from some "special edition" and now there we were again talking about the video, song, another Beyonce song well after the release of the original album.

-

To put in one word. Marketing. Good marketing prolongs her releases, making it seem like she never left or just left the music scene.

We don't have a date for the new release in 2016, might very well be by the end of the year. Who knows. But regardless, Beyoncé didn't invent this marketing tool in music. Michael Jackson was doing it in the 80s, so did many others before and after the King. HIStory was released in 95, They dont care about us came out in 96. Stranger in Moscow was released in 97 in the US. Two years after the release of the album. It is actually better for the album from a marketing strategy, but today's artists, can't do that, because there's not enough interest in this generation. You can't listen and know music by listening to it one time, or even in 24 hours. That's just my opinion tho. MJ & his team were masters of music marketing & business. People should actually have 101 classes in music business about him. Genius.

You know, I was going to reference Mr. Jackson but decided not to. I do recall Mike's "Thiller" strategy. "Thriller" came out around November of '82. But of course went on to sweep the Grammy's for it's performance throughout 1983. Most of the singles came out in '83 if I'm remembering right.

-

Let 's not bring up his lil sis, Janet who's JJRN1814 kept churning out the hits from 1989-1991. One of the biggest difference with comparing the legends to the current market is the whole re-issue or special edition gimmick. They didn't have that going for them back then.

Sis Boo I love you but....disbelief your MJ comparision to Beyonce is ridiculous. eek

Michael continued to release singles once HIStory came out. He did not release a special edition of the C.D. with bonus songs that he then released as singles. That was a gimmick ploy that Beyonce did with her last C.D. because the hype around the CD had already died down (4-5 months after it released).

Not to belabor the point but as suspected; the platinum edition of "Beyonce" was released almost a year later. November 2014. Of course, "7/11" went on to have success for several weeks, extending the "Beyonce" album era even further.

-

So I can understand why for some people, it seems like she hasn't been gone that long. I guess it's a matter of preference. For those B'Hive supporters who can't get enough of her, she's been gone too long. For those who suffer from Chronic BeyonceGiselleKnowlesCarteritis, they're probably not too excited about a new project. razz

I think your right. I also don't think the general public is that interested in her. She not as popular as she use to be and the success of Adele, Taylor and countless others proves that. She relies on her PR and gimmicks to stay relevant not because people are geniunely interested in her.

She may be talented and I do like her music though there are better singers than her, but I also think these days she's a media star and her relationship with jay z is what she's known for more than her music with the kids, which is a shame. It would be naive to assume she herself doesn't know that, or she wouldn't have toured with jay z last year.
