The only version I've heard a lot is the disco version by Meco. I'm not really familiar with the Star Wars movies. I saw parts of a couple of them on TV the 1980s, but don't remember much about them.

Really? Usually you're a wealth of information. Imagine that. Chances are you are familiar with composer John Williams work though....

Back then my mom bought the "STAR WARS" double LP thinking it was the Meco version. She ended up giving to me (and I was a huge fanatic of all things "STAR WARS"). That record actually turned me on to soundscape/orchestral music. Pure brilliance. I need to dig it out and re-visit it again.
