The Clash "Magnificent Seven"

Ok, since a lot of people have been talking about the Clash lately, I thought it was only right to bring this jam up. I've been doing some research on the history of house/dance music and I found out that urban dance clubs and DJs back in the day used to spin this record a lot at house/techno parties (for those keeping up with house music history).

Yup, it's a classic! Came out in 1980, when rap/hip-hop was still in its commercial infancy. Along with Blondie's "Rapture", it was one of the very first ever rap-rock crossover songs, although it tilts more towards the former than the latter. It's on the "Sandinista!" album, which I recommend you go out buy immediately.

I LOVE! this track. It goes to show just how versatile the Clash were. Could Guns-n-Roses do something as cool as that?
Well...could they?

RADIO CLASH is the hardest Funk I've ever heard from any Punk band.

My all-time favorite cut from the only band that matters.
