4AD The Label

I was heavily into this British record label during the 80s. Not only were the bands/music great, the Album covers were works of art themselves, full of enigmatic, surreal images. Some of the bands were:

Bahauas
Cocteau Twins
Dead Can Dance
This Mortal Coil
Wolfgang Press
Modern English
Lush
Pixies
Throwing Muses
Breeders

Rudy

I'm still a huge Lush fan and thought their breakup (and Phil's suicide) was really sad.

Miki Berenyi owes the world a kick ass solo record.

Oh yeah, you forgot Dif Juz. I just got into these guys recently. They were an awsome instrumental guitar-pop band.

TRON

Pixies are one of my all-time faves. Good label.

Almost as good as Factory. wink
