  NEWSFLASH!!! You talked… Janet Jackson listened!

  Just a few days ago it was revealed that several fans who shared their Unbreakable tour experience on social media had lost their accounts due to Jackson’s camp filing ‘copyright complaints’ (click HERE if you missed that).

  Well Janet has reconsidered her stance on the issue and admits that her team, acting on her behalf, had been a bit too petty about the situation and now she’s ok with fans posting short clips online.

  I have asked my team to change their approach and allow you to engage socially with these videos.

She is a class act and her concert tour is fab. I love that she does older songs like "Burning Up" and "Who's That Girl" alongside the new stuff.

p.s. My Instagram was never compromised, and I had posts from her second concert date. I think other folks must have gone overboard.

They went WAY overboard! How is she going to release a live version of the tour with all the footage on instagram? I bet you they won't try that anymore. If I was her I would have let instagram keep deleting them.. But Janet is very sweet. She should hire 's "Purple Police"..

Are you stupid??? Every artist has live footage of their shows on Instagram and Youtube and yet they still do release their pro-shot footage on DVD and BR. Man, I wonder how they do it?

What I never understood was the phenomenon of paying $100.00+ for a show, getting all gussied up and going to said show, then recording the thing so I can post it for someone to see for free.

Or maybe I'm just old.

Most of that footage is unauthorized & NOT approved by the artist. Luckily & Janet have enough millions to have it stopped! Why would anyone want to lose the experience of a live concert by recording it is beyond me? Enjoy & watch the show that's why you paid all that money for a ticket...

I agree it ruins it for others who haven't seen the show yet. That's one of the reasons I didn't post too much.

Its not lip syncing a concert, it is miming a performance. A concert is a live performance of music in front of an audience.
