I don't quite understand it when Breakfast Club is broadcast on regular FM radio station, but it is also broadcast by Puff Daddy's Revolt (probably a big reason Michael Bivins is on the show).

Interesting that Mike mentions that the 1990s acts (Kris Kross, TLC, Jodeci, etc.) copied BBD's style and that he spent some of his own money developing Boyz II Men.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Sort of. Back in the 1970s, Buck Owens sometimes wore his overalls backwards on Hee Haw smile Stringbean, who was on the early seasons, was wearing sagging pants in the 1950s. Jimmy Riddle, another Hee Haw cast member, was known for eefin', which is sort of beatboxing. Eefin' originated from rural hillbillies circa the early 1900s. So hip hop fashion had some influence from country music. razz lol
