"Crank That Soulja Boy"

The opening steel drums of that song angers me enough to beat cancer children about the head.

Katie Kinisky: "So What Are The Latest Dances, Nell?"
Nell Carter: "Anything The Black Folks did Last Year"

As for old school, "Life in the Fast Lane" is unbearable.

The Eagles??

Yes. And I'd be happy to tell you why.

Please do! foodnow
Well it's a simple story, really!

About 7 years ago when I was a freshman in high school I had to take the worst (as in the most boring) art class ever and the teacher was just as boring as the class. It was bad enough that he was a kind of a jerk but what annoyed me most about him was his taste in music which apparently consisted of nothing but 5-6 Eagles songs ("Life in the Fast Lane" being one of them of course) which he played in the same sequence EVERY DAY I had his class. LITFL resonates with me more because I've heard the song again subsequently and realized that there were parts of the song I hadn't heard initially and those parts caused the song to sound worse! The dude's playlist was dusty after just a few days in his class. I had him 3 days a week for an entire semester...

I can definitely say I'm an Eagles fan after that experience lol

"U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer barf the only good thing about this song is the Rick James "Super Freak" sample, but I hated seeing his great music used on such a crappy song

I like 'Take It Easy', but that's because I'm old (see avatar). As a youngster I preferred death metal

What is Badujunkie talking about? Do they not know that 'Imagine', much like 'What's Going On?', is a song that MATTERS? I think we'll all agree that's more than you can say for any Prince song.

The Cranberries' Zombie. Apart from the bad music, it's a song about dead terrorists walking around like they're still alive. Bunch of crypt keepers, no wonder they inspired such dross.

Had you said Linger or Dreams, I'd have high fives you all day long F+S. But I love a bit of 'Zombie'. That's when they got interesting for 3 minutes! I don't think millions like it though, there's probably about 837 of us.

I take Imagine as a brilliant example of intentionally writing a popular song. It's Lennon learning from McCartney. But yeah, essentially it's shitty

I agree with this!! lol I hate his music!! He's made a whole career out of ripping off early-70s rock.I have yet to hear something 'original' from him.His music is so damn derivative and boring.

Agreed. I should clarify that I'm not a total twit, I was just making a joke in reference to a particular thread from a few months ago.

268 million zombies on youtube might disagree!
