she's actually had inner ear issues since the rhythm nation tour. she told Donnie Simpson on video soul she had to postpone a few shows because of it. if her ear was bothering her i can see how she wouldnt fly to vegas after back to back shows in north carolina to do a short set at a radio festival tonight, then turn right back around and fly to miami for a show tomorrow, i dont even understand why her team would book that. Yeah! That wasn't the best idea. BlackCat1985

Oh yeah...Traffic lol. About that... We were 5 minutes late to the show, but got a parking spot without issue (it was a nice little walk from the pavillion, but it was free lol)...the show ended around 10. it took us about 2 hours to get out. It was a logistical nightmare, and some ignorance did ensue after a while. Quite a few fenders got nipped, and I almost swiped an SUV that tried to barrel its way ahead of me. We were heated. That adrenaline kept me up on that 1.5 hr drive home though. Some of the parking attendants were useless. Don't know how the Orlando layout is, but get there early & get out early if you can help it. Sounds like they weren't prepared for Ms. Jackson! The young Janet fan I talked to said that hes been to that place many times for concerts. He said he had never seen it that packed before. And DAMN at 2 hours just to get out. BlackCat1985

How dare someone knock the "T" off the "Janet" sign at the local venue! I'm going to see "Janet Jackson" not "Jane Jackson." "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

^ The show looks AMAZING! Her costume is awful though, it really takes away from her awesome dancing. She is lipsyncing but she is kicking ass with those dance moves, damn can't wait to see her!

Man traffic was so bad I missed the first 30 minutes of the show. I left home at 6:40 and got to North Tryon easily but traffic was gridlocked for the next hour or so. Could hear the beginning of the show from my car. They definitely underestimated the attendance for this show. It should have been at Time Warner Arena instead of outdoors at PNC pavillion. I enjoyed the show once inside. She killed all the classics. Very good show and she didn't have to perform half naked for the crowd to appreciate the show. When me and my wife arrived we had to stand at the top of the lawn area to watch the show. It was that damn crowded. It made it easier to get out and get home. I spoke to a few friends saturday and it took them 2 hours to get out the parking lot just as it took me 2 hours to get in. I hope to see her in Columbia SC on the second leg of her tour in March. I also saw Janet in Charlotte Friday night and I love that Janet is still sexier than the Beyonce's and Rhianna's in her modest costumes and sneakers. My only gripe is that she had so many hits to perform that most of the songs were abbreviated.
P.S. Yes, it took me 2 hours to get home too!

- 'The days of raunchy dance moves and sexual lyrics are long gone for Janet,' a source told British newspaper The Sun. - Told us what? Since when is The Sun gospel. (No pun intended)

Janet has changed, It's not an insult to her. It's a compliment. She is a married woman and is carrying herself like one. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

It's just that I'm not quick to believe any tabloid. As far as her being married, she was secretly married while singing about a smooth and shiny dick feeling good pressed against her lips too. LOL!

It wasn't that much of a secret to me! Rene would call Virgin Records and address himself as Janet's husband on the regular back then.... Long gone even though anyone with a brain and an ass to shake likes those dirty songs just ask much as she still does. Its a good, calculated move to put that aspect of her success to the side. The strategy must be working if she is filling up arenas but idk anyone looking for tickets. I'll rock out to some Free Xone.

you can pull single tickets to all the show, i like i did with the NJ show which was on the floor Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

- Agreed. Everybody and their grandmother is now doing what she was doing over 20 yrs ago anyway. Refocusing on other aspects of her legacy was smart. She wasn't ever one dimensional. - I think many of the shows were selling out prior to any knowledge of the content of the shows though. We've only gotten a glimpse of what the new record is like with the four songs featured during the tour. - Rock on with "FreeXone"!

- You sure don't mind tooting your own horn about your work in the industry do you. - I'm sure you knew what I meant by stating "secret marriage". The average person hadn't a clue back then. Everyone just thought that he was her boyfriend.

Janet's trending on Yahoo. Not sure if its the traffic jam fiasco in NC, the release of Unbreakable as a single, or the IHeart Radio performance rumors. Good to see her name in the media for (primarily) positive reasons.
I'm avoiding concert spoiler clips and snippets until I can cop the album. I missed her in Grand Rapids here in Mich. (I was curious to see how they'd receive her as she'd never played there) but she'll be back to the Palace closer to Detroit in a couple months. I wish she'd play The Joe Louis Arena in the HEART of the city like she used to. It was like she was demonstrating her clout and crossover appeal by selling out a venue in the city, AND its suburban counterpart. The energy in the D was always better.

Me too! No sleeep is a classic, Unbreakable is strong, not a smash too (it would have been longer, but her vocals are ), but expectation are high! Get a feeling this is gonna be a classic album i've been waithing for for such a long time.
