Stevie Salas is one of the best unsung six-stringers around. He has been laying down some of the baddest funky rock licks for 30 years. But he is not Japanese. I especially like his work with P-Funk alum and Bill Laswell. Stevie's a cool player. I dug his "Third Eye" project with Bootsy and Buddy Miles. And the stuff he does with Bernard Fowler is great too. Very underrated cat....Char is a good guitarist too. He has a ton of YT videos online.
