The world's foremost proponents of Rock 'n Soul - Daryl Hall and John Oates -- will take center stage for an evening of live music in A&E's LIVE BY REQUEST STARRING DARYL HALL AND JOHN OATES, which will air live from the John Jay College Center in New York City.

During the program Daryl Hall and John Oates will take song requests via a special 800-telephone number. Fans logging on to http://www.livebyrequest.com will be able to join the official live concert webcast, email song requests, post messages and have access to on-demand text including discographies, biographical information and lyrics to songs. Mark McEwen, the popular TV personality from CBS' The Early Show, will host the special. A&E's LIVE BY REQUEST STARRING DARYL HALL AND JOHN OATES will also be simulcast over the Jones Radio network where listeners will hear the show in its entirety in stereo.

Most recently, Daryl Hall & John Oates released a brand new studio album entitled Do It For Love, on their own label, U-Watch Records on February 11, which debuted at No. 77 on Billboard's "Top 200" album chart. The new album (their 21st), marks three decades of continuous platinum success with over 60 million albums sold worldwide. Their new single "Forever For You,"(the follow-up to their recent No.1 hit single "Do It For Love"), is currently No. 6 and rapidly climbing both Billboard and R&R's A/C charts.

The legendary duo have kicked-off a worldwide tour with a run of sold-out U.S. East coast dates which will lead them to Europe and Japan, culminating with a National U.S. tour which will commence this summer and continue throughout the remainder of the year. I don't have time to read all of this right now, but didn't this premiere either earlier this year, or late last year? I saw something VERY similar to it and I think it was on the A&E channel.

Yes they did something like this last spring i watched it back cant remember what channel it was on but the live by request is all new 2 hr program its great the encore replays Sunday, March 30

Yeah, I saw that.. it was pretty cool and they sound pretty good. John Oates looks weird without the mustache, and what happened to Daryl Hall's eyes? They're all poofy. confused
