Tina Turner's Private Dancer 30th Anniversary Edition *I'm not even going say, what y'all KNOW I really want to say. Nope! Not even going to waste the energy.*
Anyhoo, for anyone who likes when artists do this sort of thing for their fans...

Here is the long awaited tracklist of the new Private Dancer 30th Anniversary Edition. CD1. PRIVATE DANCER
CD2. BONUS DISC
Tina Turner’s classic album Private Dancer was a huge global success on its release in June 1984 and became Tina Turner’s breakthrough solo album, thanks in part to an 18-month single release schedule that saw no fewer than seven songs from the ten-track album released in various territories, including ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’, ‘Better Be Good To Me’, ‘Private Dancer’ and a cover of Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’.
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I'll probably skip this since it's basically a rehash of the deluxe edition Walmart has for $5 plus a few cuts tacked on that I already have. The only track I don't recognize is "Don't Mess With My Baby". Too bad they couldn't include "Crazy In the Night", a track from the "Summer Lovers Soundtrack" she did a couple years prior to "Private Dancer". That song still remains unreleased on CD. The original album has a sheen that actually didn't sound like it was begging for a remaster, but I LOVE the second disc! Especially having those b-sides (which I had collected a few of) and the Mad Max Beyond The Thunderdome hits.

Am I a bad fan for not knowing that Tina covered "Lets Pretend We're Married"? YouTube has live versions - how is this studio version? Neat that she covered "Baby I'm A Star" - I wonder how close those two are.

YES! Fail! it's one of her biggest concert staples from when she came back
Anyone serious about the TT needs the 1964-94 collected recording boxset...it made me gay in 8th grade (no in all seriousness, it's the shit) I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

There is no studio version of Let's Pretend Wére Married by Tina. The only one ever included on single and album was a live in Chicago that was unfortunately fadding out before the end of the song (because It was immediately followed by Hot Legs). Here is a link to a couple of articles about Prince's songs covered by Tina http://tinaturnerblog.com/tag/prince/ And i do agree about the "poor" setlist and package... A shame for such an album and artist. The Tina Turner Blog: http://tinaturnerblog.com/.

That's right, the original b-side was a live version.
