Kanye is an ignorant douche and a serial bully who chooses his "victims" wisely. The tidal wave of backlash against his Auto-tune dependent, sampling ass warms my heart.
Can we just give Beyonce all the awards? Including the one for best editing, best spoken word album, best adaptation of a screenplay and best picture? No one else deserves anything.
I dont get why we are mad at Kanye for voicing an opinion against an opinion.
When its the Grammy's that is the problem.
The thing is, what makes Kanye think that his opinion matters? He's defending Beyonce (against Beck) and married to one of the Kardashians. Those two things alone speak volumes about his character and level of intelligence.
Kanye can't touch Beck. He's lucky that Beck is a class act, unlike him, of course.

this is exactly how Kanye feels. It's sickening, isn't it?
Would Kanye go and rush the stage. If the dude was as big as The Rock? or if it was someone like Madonna or Stevie Wonder winning album of the year. What about Asian artists? they've never been nominated for any of the big awards. Hell, radio won't play them. Where's kanye on that? where is he on ''artistery'' of all other people of color? i guess we silly Asians don't count in the music world. Or at least to yeezys musical world. But that Beyonce needed her 23 grammys!
Kanye would never rush the stage of a major artist. Or of someone who is bigger than him honestly. Eminem is the exact same way! only disses those who are weaker than him.

This was not supposed to happen. Beck kicked both Beyoncé and Sam Smith to the curb by taking the “Album of the Year” trophy. This was a triumph in the ever-raging battle between art and commerce, for “Morning Phase” is a finely crafted, beautifully recorded collection of songs, an album that has “timeless” written all over it. That Prince was the man who handed out the award – “Albums – remember those?” he asked, with that million-dollar smirk on his face – made the victory all the more sweet, for Prince is the poster child for the “art matters more than mainstream success” argument. (Prince, in fact, released two albums this year, and both are more deserving of a Grammy than the efforts of Smith and Beyoncé combined, but I digress.)
Prince went on to offer the best line of the night, before handing Beck his award for the year’s best album:
“Like books and black lives, albums still matter.”
And if you want to get real about it, ALL THESE PEOPLE WON GRAMMYS THIS YEAR! Kendrick Lamar (3), Pharrell (3), Beyonce (3), Toni Braxton & Babyface, Robert Glasper Experiment feat. Malcolm Jamal Warner & Lalah Hathaway, Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, Lisa Fischer & Judith Hill, Dianne Reeves, Erica Campbell, Lecrae, Smokie Norful & Aaron W. Lindsey, John Coltrane, Billy Childs, Angelique Kidjo, Ziggy Marley
And just like the revolution those awards will not be televised.
The grammys are all about the Best New Artist, Record and Album of the year- so all the artist are after those awards to boost their sales.
The artists competing know this also so they could careless about the sub-categories.
The whole thing is just an elitist fighting match but it lends itself greatly to pointing out how society works with issues of racism and class at play in this microcosm.

You're a hateful, racist, contradictory, no-point-havin' fool. I'd list all the awards won by white, spanish, asian, etc. people that weren't televised, but you still wouldn't get it. All that matters to you is that you get to keep doing your angry finger-pointing. If Kanye won an award and a white person acted out against him in this manner a large portion of the black community would be exploding, claiming racism. Yet, this isn't even the first time Kanye has done this and you sit there going around and around, trying to find some way in which Kaney is being wronged, trying to find some way to make it a white against black race issue, trying to explain how Kanye's opinion is right, contradicting yourself over and over in the process. Bullshit. Kanye was an asshole, he deserves to be called on it and race has nothing to do with it.
Brilliant!
You think an opposition to the capitalist system is prejudiced to the white Man power structure? And ultimately class, race and gender? Yes you are right
Take a seat with that racism talk, prejudiced? If you say so but your missing the point I'm making.
It all starts with Grammy's and their ridiculous opinion of who is the best.
My comment had no mention of race but pointing to competition and that competing artists only care about is the prize that will generate sales.

I agree with you. Especially the bolded.
I doubt Kanye was even doing that to make a statement about the Grammys being racist. Kanye is someone who said it's okay if White people use the N-word. Kanye is someone who has made a fashion line with Confederate Flags on them. He might have been right about George Bush but Kanye is a joke to me now when it comes to race-relations.
He's just a tool and he needs to stop pushing his PERSONAL opinion on who should have won what on other artists. He needs to grow the hell up.
Kanye didn't explicitly say that the Grammys and therefore by extension society is built on a racist or hierarchal structure-I'll say it. Again and again because it's true.
You are free to co-sign on the theory that opposing this racist, sexist and classist power structure is racism, I am prejudiced to all those things I.e racism, classism and sexism and if opposing that structure is racist (perhaps the more accurate word is threatening) to the White man- ok then.

I believe that all the people mad at Kanye for bum rushing the stage when Taylor and Beck were recieving awards probably think Jarvis Cocker was a hero when he crashed Michael Jackson's performance.
In fact I bet people like Shirley Manson and the whole alternative poser crew thought that it was a great '"anarchist" moment.
Here he is at a press conference doubling down his privilege to be able to protest his view of what he thought was ridiculous.
Why is it ok for the Jarvis's of the world and not the Kanye's?

Jarvis felt the need to crash Michael's stage beacuse he feels he has lost tough with reality?
and the press and society (apart from Michael's fans) think he is a hero
You and your logical fallacy. I for one believe that Kanye is a cunt and I don't think that Jarvis is a hero. What's next? Are you going to bet that people who dislike Kanye are fans of Bill O' Reilley?
I'm a big MJ fan and I think what Jarvis did was disrespectful, but it's somewhat hillarious and entertaining. There's nothing funny and entertaining about Kanye.
My opinion would be the same if Beck was black, Kanye white, MJ white, and Jarvis black.

Yeah, I know thats why I'm pointing it out.
Kanye will not recieve a boost in fame like Jarvis did- why is that?
surely crashing and making a mockery of someones performance is far worse than protesting an award?
I dont expect you be concious as to why you instinctly feel one is funny and the other is not.
Your opinion in these two situations are not the same.

Are you going to say Obama is a racist just because he thinks Kanye is a jackass?
Some people are just tools, cunts, and jackasses, regardless of their creeds, sexual preferences, political affiliations, etc. Kanye is a tool, cunt, and a jackass. Plain and simple. Why won't you accept that objective reality?
Patriots' Cornerback Brandon Browner: "Kanye is a Sucka" Feb 2015
Kanye West has a brand new enemy -- New England Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner ... who just called the rapper a "SUCKA" and said he woulda beat his ass if he were Beck.
Browner clearly saw Kanye's antics at the Grammys ... where he ran on the stage while Beck was accepting the award for Album of the Year. He later ranted that Beyonce should have won. Well, the move pissed off Browner -- who says, "Kanye West is a sucka! Everybody don't listen to Beyonce. Second time he tried to steal somebody shine. First time it was a 15 yr old girl." He continued, "Kanye try and play that I'm weird because of my genius. None of the greats pull that stupid ish. Meaning Marley, Mike Jack, Tupac, Jayz etc.""Peep who he tried Beck and Taylor Swift. Real tough guy. If only I could've been Beck for one night. Kanye would be rapping thru the wire."
Translation -- might be smart for Kanye to stay away from the Pats locker room for a while.

I'm starting to suspect that you are BEYONCE.
Why is Jarvis not a Jackass and Kanye is?
Because for some reason the public perception was that Jarvis was an 'anarchist' hero and Kanye was acting like a savage.
Some people have to act super well behaved and respectable or else they face being called a jackass while others can run around like Jarvis Cocker and people will laugh and praise him as some counter-culture hero.

Agreed. I think she did issue a statement, or at the very least answer questions about it, after the Taylor Swift incident. She's going to need to step up on this one pretty quick as well.
Beyonce doesn't need to make any kind of statement denouncing what Kanye did. She's not responsible for anything he has to say, therefore it's not her responsibility to run behind him to do damage control every time he decides to offer an opinion (even if it's obnoxious, and even if it was on her behalf) to try and placate silly and bitter online cynics with perpetual chips on their shoulders who constantly complain, and wouldn't even be satisfied if she did.

What are you smoking? Your comments make repeated mention of race/racism. You're repeatedly pushing a white verses black agenda when it was in fact a black man who acted out and then rudely spoke out against a white artist (and artistry in general), thereby creating this current HUMAN culture wide discussion. Not black culture, not white culture, HUMAN culture. I'm not missing any points and I NEVER confuse racism with prejudice. You are clearly pushing a white verses black agenda - it's not prejudice, it's racist. What capitalist white man power structure are you talking about, and how does it relate to the conversations at hand? The one that's held Kanye, Beyonce and Jay-Z down? Because that one clearly doesn't exist. I'm very, VERY well aware of the social ills that still exist in this country in places where it matters. Racism is alive and well, but EVERY. SINGLE. THING. that goes wrong for a black man or woman in this country cannot be blamed on racism. More than that, and this is a very important issue for me at the moment, every white person is not racist. Yet anytime anything goes wrong for any person of color all they have to do is say "racist" and immediately it becomes about that, not about what ACTUALLY happened. Then there is suddenly the fear of not saying anything wrong after the fact, thereby stopping further intelligent discourse and any chance for progress. Well I don't have that fear - I will talk on it until the letters wear off my keyboard, and then I'll go buy a new one. You have no idea how many people voted for Beck and Beyonce, nor do you know what color they are. What if Beck won by one vote, and that vote came from the hand of a black academy member? Has something like that even crossed your mind? If you really don't care about the Grammy's opinion of who is best (and I really don't) then you've gone pretty far out of your way to make it a GIANT issue, calling into question race, racism, prejudice, capitolist systems, white man power structures, competition, album sales, how society works, racial elements, Shirley Manson talking down to Kanye (lmao) and calling him a savage (which she did not so). Man, I am just getting started here and I'm purposely keeping it light and as short as possible, but if you WANT to go deep on this I WILL go deep. You HAVE repeatedly made it about race, so unless you are prepared to have a serious, TWO-SIDED conversation on the subject, you need to take a seat yourself.
