Has Prince ever mentioned his favorite song from SITKOL? It would be cool if he performed it, whatever it is.

I believe Prince said that he wish he wrote Village Ghetto Land from the SITKOL album.I believe he covered a few songs from it.

Good Lord. Does anyone know which "today's artists" are performing? I have a feeling a good part of it will be a spectacle.

I didn't read the article but I did see Beyonce's name (and with that, the absence of Bruno Mars') and second guessed tuning in. I'm holding out for this to be good and am still interested to see how the "stars" of today perform old school music. I'm going in optimistically even if the poor man's Whitney Houston is one of the performers.

I don't know anything about that but Bruno is the best artist we have when it comes to replicating old school sounds. That and I think he can pull off covering a Stevie Wonder song.

On social media they were showing clips of Beyonce strutting down the aisle and popping her butt during her cover of Finger tips. confused Boo chill out, FYI this is not YOUR tribute! Dis not about you lol This tribute is for a REAL Legend. She ALWAYS makes everything about her, my goodness. I would have loved to have seen Bruno or Janelle perform!!!! REAL artists that have actually been influenced by Stevie. Hell or even Donell Jones disbelief

The two songs someone better not butcher are As/Another Star--I will turn the volume off. Sheer perfection as Stevie sings it and I cannot hear someone desecrate those songs. hmph!

I look forward to seeing Janelle Monae, Annie Lennox and a couple of others slated but why in the hell did they have Andrea Bocelli singing, "I Just Called To Say I Love You"? It's not like it was on SITKOL.

You didn't know that it's her world "so bow down bitches." lol I'll be glad when her popularity falls because then and maybe then, will she not be able to manipulate the industry like she does.

I've been waiting for this for at least 7-8 years, hasn't happened yet... Sick of her voice, sick of her face.
